Perhaps you believe that it cannot happen to you. Only other people can become injured. This thinking has become very popular over the years. Cemeteries are full of people with thoughts like this. Maybe you do not want to think about it. In fact, you may wish to think about nothing. Be careful what you wish for. You could be thinking about nothing, sooner that you think.
Summary
You do not have to wear a motorcycle if the law permits it. You are free to do as you choose. Maybe your head and brain are not a priority in your life. Maybe it is a matter of money. If you have to choose between maths tuition and head protection, which will it be? It is hard to go to school without your head. You should try to protect your head and its contents. Some day you may need them.
